From Pittsburgh, PA via Morgantown, WV (2 hours) I-79 South to I-68 East at Morgantown, WV; I-68 East to Exit 4-Friendsville, MD; MD Route 42 South to U.S. Route 219 South at Deep Creek Lake.

From Pittsburgh, PA via Uniontown, PA (2 hours) U.S 51 to Uniontown, PA; U.S. 40 East to U.S.Route 219 South; U.S. Route 219 South to Deep Creek Lake.
